Siti Maziah's Wedding

Another wedding has been held today at Kg. Menkabong, Tuaran and it's Siti Maziah's wedding. She's an old friend of mine and we used to be classmates in SM St John, Tuaran.

As planned Joesia (the driver...lolx), Khairul Jamilah and I departed from Tuaran's famous Soto Shop to the bride's residents at 3pm. When we reached Siti's house, we were greeted by Siti's brother who's name I forgot (I remember that he was my senior back in SM St. John before. Ops..sorry) and there were only a few guest lefted so it was less crowded ~YAY Happy.

This gives the rest of us the opportunity to spend more time taking pictures with the bride and groom, chatting and EATING. Oh I just love the Chicken Curry and I just love the brides dress. It was a mixed of red (my favorite) and ...erm... was that peach? Anyway it was nice, simple and sweet . So we talk about the good old days and we did some "catching up".

I interviewed (la konon) Siti, our bride of the day, asking what she's been up to since we left school, about work and about the groom as well. Now she's working as a teacher (probably part-time) in ...ok let me think... Tawau...I guess or was it in UMS or something... after finishing her degree.

The groom is from Kedah and he works somewhere around Indah Permai or was it Alam Mesra.

OMG...why am I so forgetful...mau senile mungkin sa ni...geez...

Joesia in the other hand... ask " berapa la budget?" Hehehe... as always la. But you know I can't blame her since it's gonna be her turn next. Maklumlah baru bertunang two weeks back (on 8th Nov).

Too bad we missed meeting up with the rest of the gang that came earlier that day.

So before I end todays report (...copying a tv news announcer), again I would like to Congratulate Siti and Mohd Khairy (I hope I got this right... I ambik from the signboard near the road...) and wishing both a happy marriage.

Good Luck on your wedding reception at your in-laws house in Kedah this 13th Dec Siti..you'll need it. Whahahaha.

Signing off.

Get Ready? Get Set? Go! Go! Go! Lala's Melilea Challenge

Hi all.

Last Saturday which was on the 18th October, my friends (Joesia and Khairul Jamilah) and I went to see Khairul Adam's (an old pal and classmate) wedding at his home at Kg. Mengkabong, Tuaran.

I'm glad I came cos it's been a while since I meet everyone especially Khairul Adam and his mother (Cikgu Hamidah...lol I hope I got it right..) who was once my teacher during Secondary School. The last time the rest of us visit his home was like 6 or 7 years ago during a Hari Raya Open House.

So we chat and chat and chat... then the taboo question pops up... "Lala ko bila mo kahwin?" (translation: "Lala when are you getting married?"...

I was like "WTHSTFU..." (swearing)... those words are all in my head tho... I sighed and calmly answered..."Tunggu sa kurus dulu... susah mo cari baju kahwin untuk orang gendut..."

Yes, I said..."Wait until I'm slimmer.... I'm to fat to fit on a wedding dress..." and I added just so everyone will forget about asking more "...plus it's gonna be hard and expensive to rent an XXXL wedding dress...", everyone laughed of course.

--------- End of Flash Back ------------

So that's what happen recently... and now decided to lose some weight, I know I need to exercise but the 1st thing I need to control is my eating habits. I tend to eat anything I feel like eating. Plus my "kekasih" and I love to eat and experiment food a lot. I don't mind how much the food cost (this depends on my budget..) as long as I can eat whahahahah *evil laugh* \^-^/ Hooray to FOOD...

*Cough cough cough* OK... I need to focus...focus... @_@;

...Back to controlling my eating habit... so I decided to start and try a product a friend introduced to be called Melilea Greenfield Organic today.

Wonder if it works... if it does I'll be sure to post it here in the future.

Until next time folks. Cya~

Just For Laughs - Joke of the Day

Plan Ahead by CrazyKen.com

Regardless of one's age, you simply should always plan ahead

The local news station was interviewing an 80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married -- for the fourth time.

The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new husband's occupation.

"He's a funeral director," she answered.

"Interesting," the newsman thought. He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about her first three husbands and what they did for a living.

She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those years. After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she'd first married a banker when she was in her early 20's, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40's, later on a preacher when in her 60's, and now in her 80's, a funeral director.

The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked why she had married four men with such diverse careers.

She smiled and explained, "I married one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go."

Word Of The Day

Hello everyone.

Today I just learn a new word. It's Voyeurism. I thought it has the same meaning as the word voyage (you know...like traveling or a journey or something), but it's not.

Ok, so I came across this word while I was searching new movies and clips in Crunchyroll (CR) and there, there's this Korean Drama/Movie called Summer Time.

Being the curious person as I am, I check out the movie and it's a 18sx rated movie... not something a kid should watch and a movie I honestly not fond watching.

But again, due to curiosity... I want to know what this movie is all about so I check out the dramas summaries.

"A look at voyeurism as a student activist goes into hiding and takes a liking to spying on others. Peeping at a newlywed couple making love, he falls in love with the bride who is virtually under house arrest by her maniacally possessive husband. An illicit and graphical love affair ensues. The cinematography takes on a fly-on-the-wall approach, giving the audience the perspective of eavesdropping on this intimate space, as peeps themselves."

Casts: Choi Cheol-Ho, Ryu Su-Yeong, Song Ok-Suk, Kim Ji-Hyun

So this is how I learn about the word Voyeurism.

According to Webster's New Millennium Dictionary of English, Voyeurism means sexual stimulation or satisfaction from looking at naked people, most often without their knowledge; a love of looking at people in this way; also called Scopophilia.

I was kinda shocked at 1st well since I didn't read the movie summaries until the end...I just read until the word Voyeurism. LOLx yeah dum dum me) :3

Alright that's all folks. Until next time. Cya~

Multiple Intelligences

Hello again.

Today I just want to share something that I've learn from the course I recently attend this month. I am to do a Speech, so in one of the classes we were to learn how to do Public Speaking and our facilitator is non-other than Dr. G.

In this class we learn about ourselves through the colors of love, how to make choices, taking charge of oneself, and lastly about Multiple Intelligences (I'll start using MI for Multiple Intelligences since its too long to type..).

It was a great class and I'm sure everyone had a great time enjoying it.

Before the class ended Dr. G ( Master G) told us that we can learn about someones personality and intelligence by searching "Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner" on the internet.

So I did since I love anything about psychology to it's quizzes. I went to this site Multiple Intelligence Test for Adults (by Nancy Faris) and this is the result I got.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pictures of Kursus Induksi Modul Umum & Modul Kenegaraan at Hotel Putra KL, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur on April 5 till April 10, 2008. This is during Dr.G's class.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MI / My Personal Evaluation
The Seven Intelligence Areas

Linguistic: 8
Logical-Mathematical: 6
Spatial: 3
Bodily-Kinesthetic: 6
Musical: 7
Interpersonal: 6
Intrapersonal: 10

A Short Definition of your Highest Score

Intrapersonal - the ability to assess one's own strengths, weaknesses, talents, and interests and use them to set goals, to understand oneself to be of service to others, to form and develop concepts and theories based on an examination of oneself, and to reflect on one's inner moods, intuitions, and temperament and to use them to create or express a personal view. Possible vocations that use the intrapersonal intelligence include planner, small business owner, psychologist, artist, religious leader, and writer.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright so that's my result after taking the test. I've taken a test almost the same as this in ISM during my Kursus Pengurusan Kanak-Kanak Bermasalah dan Perkembangan Psikologi Kanak-Kanak class, but there was only 3 types of MI listed and I got Bodily-Kinesthetic in the end of the test.

There are more types of Gardner's MI . To be exact it has 8 identified intelligences.
To see what type of MI and it's definition go to MI : Gardner's 8 Intelligences.

Ah! Going back to Dr.G. He has a PhD in Human Behavior. He did say something about currently working on Hypnotherapy research etc. So anyone who wanted his help, please contact him at his office (03-6092633 - Rose, his secretary), (019-3254335 - mobile number) or email him at sdevrabu@gmail.com

That's all I'm gonna share today. I recommend everyone to try this.

Till next time. Jumpa lagi bloggers.

- Eric, Aidyl, Bibi, Azli's Birthday.

September 2007
- Honestly I'm not sure what I did that month...but I know it's my Mom's Birthday on the 2nd and also Tony's...somewhere around this month la.

October 2007
- Another March Pass competition. This was suppose to be on September 16th but it was postpone due to the Muslim's fasting month.
- Hari Raya~ visited houses: Shah's house, Datuk Yahya Hussein's house... hmm where again ah?!

On the 12th I got a call from KL saying I got 2nd Place for the PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION last July (she didn't mention 2nd place rly...she only say its a suprised). I was suppose to attend the ceremony in ISM , Kuala Lumpur unfortunately I'm in Kudat and the ceremony is on the 13th... So someone end up jadi my wakil.
