Hello everyone.
Today I just learn a new word. It's Voyeurism. I thought it has the same meaning as the word voyage (you know...like traveling or a journey or something), but it's not.
Ok, so I came across this word while I was searching new movies and clips in Crunchyroll (CR) and there, there's this Korean Drama/Movie called Summer Time.
Being the curious person as I am, I check out the movie and it's a 18sx rated movie... not something a kid should watch and a movie I honestly not fond watching.
But again, due to curiosity... I want to know what this movie is all about so I check out the dramas summaries.
"A look at voyeurism as a student activist goes into hiding and takes a liking to spying on others. Peeping at a newlywed couple making love, he falls in love with the bride who is virtually under house arrest by her maniacally possessive husband. An illicit and graphical love affair ensues. The cinematography takes on a fly-on-the-wall approach, giving the audience the perspective of eavesdropping on this intimate space, as peeps themselves."
Casts: Choi Cheol-Ho, Ryu Su-Yeong, Song Ok-Suk, Kim Ji-Hyun
So this is how I learn about the word Voyeurism.
According to Webster's New Millennium Dictionary of English, Voyeurism means sexual stimulation or satisfaction from looking at naked people, most often without their knowledge; a love of looking at people in this way; also called Scopophilia.
I was kinda shocked at 1st well since I didn't read the movie summaries until the end...I just read until the word Voyeurism. LOLx yeah dum dum me) :3
Alright that's all folks. Until next time. Cya~
